Buyer Responsibilities:

 
Checkout
  Provide valid address : in the event of a dispute, the only valid address is one provided in the personal information section of My Mela
  Contact Seller at checkout prior to making payment
   
Payment  
  Deposit money within 2 days of checkout  
  No checkout is valid till payment clears in cMela account  
  No payment (except by credit card) is valid without a MCB deposit slip number  
     
Returns  
  File a dispute claim within 2 days of receipt of item  
  Return item in original packing with insurance and tracking number to seller  
     
Orders  
  If item is not delivered within specified delivery date, Buyer can claim refund of the 25% deposit
  Buyer and Seller must mutually agree to any extension of order delivery date
  If an order is cancelled by Buyer, cMela will refund only half the order deposit and credit the Seller the remaining half to compensate for order renege
     

Seller responsibilities:

   
Listing  
  Provide as many details of product on cMela
  Provide all details on buyer phone enquiry
  Immediately delist product if out of stock
     
Shipping  
  Ship item within 2 business days of receiving payment credit confirmation from cMela  
  Ensure safe packing  
  Provide tracking number for shipment to Buyer  
  Assume sole responsibility of transit insurance  
     
Payment  
  Provide authentic bank information for payment credit by cMela  
  Provide authentic address for check payment credit by cMela  
  Payment credit is initiated 7 working days from the date the buyer receives item Orders  
  If item is not delivered within specified delivery date, Buyer can claim refund of the 25% deposit  
  Buyer and Seller must mutually agree to any extension of order delivery date  
  If an order is cancelled by Buyer, cMela will refund only half the order deposit and credit the Seller the remaining half to compensate for order renege
     

cMela disclaimers:

 
 
Payment
  cMela is not responsible for any transaction if payment does not go through cMela  
  cMela is not responsible for any transaction where a seller ships items without payment confirmation from cMela
  cMela is not responsible for any transaction until buyer payment to cMela credits its account
   
Shipment
  Seller must provide tracking number for any shipment to buyer
  cMela Assumes item is delivered to buyer on the 7th day of intimating seller and will initiate credit to seller on the 8th day. No dispute can be filed after this date by the buyer.
   

Dispute:

 
If Buyer lodges dispute of non-delivery
  Seller must provide tracking and delivery confirmation, else Buyer gets refund
 
If Buyer lodges dispute of fraud
  Buyer must return item in original packing
  Buyer must insure shipment returned to Seller
  Provide tracking number to Seller and
  Immediately lodge dispute with cMela
 
In the event of a dispute, the benefit of doubt in all transactions will go to the buyer.
